Moved on to a high torque servo rather than a stepper motor because the stepper motor was difficult to control and too little torque.
Gears were designed with a 27mm center distance even though the mounting holes for the bottom ring are 27.5mm apart.
This is to ensure the gears are not compressing each other.
The petals were given a gap so that they can slide even better between each other.
The center gear was made 3.3mm wide instead of 3mm so that the 3mm wide petals would better fit.
Added a small ring for the top cupling portion to increase structural integrity.
